Green Key BeachGreen Key Beach, also known as Robert K. Rees Memorial Park, is located just a few miles from our hotel and is open from dawn to dusk daily. This 45 acre park is a strip of land that snakes along the Gulf of Mexico and includes a boardwalk that meanders through both sandy beach areas and also dense mangrove forests. The boardwalk features one elevated viewing tower where you can look out at the gulf and watch for dolphins or the many bird species which are known to inhabit this area.

The park is ideal for families and features a large swimming area with shower and bathrooms, a play area with various slides and swings, a picnic area with tables and charcoal grills, a ramp for launching canoes and kayaks, and several pavilions. Admission into the park is only $2 and rental of the pavilions for birthdays and family reunions starts at $25.

Whether you are visiting our hotel for business or leisure, you can enjoy a small tropical vacation just 3 miles from our hotel. Directions to the beach are simple. Just take a right (North) out of our parking lot and go 1 mile. Turn left on Main Street. Go .3 miles and turn right on Werner Avenue. Go .1 miles on Werner then turn left on Green Key Road. The park will be at the end of the road.
