Maple Planked Cheesecake Stuffed Apples

Ingredients:

2 6x12 Sugar Maple Planks, soaked

4 tbsp. melted butter

2 tbsp. brown sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon, plus more for dusting

6 medium baking apples, tops sliced, insides scooped

2 blocks cream cheese, softened

1/2 c powdered sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Crushed graham crackers for garnish

Caramel sauce for finishing

Directions:

Soak Sugar Maple planks in water for at least 2 hours.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.  In small bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Place Sugar Maple planks on cookie sheet.  Brush mixture on insides of apples.  Place apples on planks.  Bake 20 minutes

Meanwhile, in a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and remaining mixture until creamy.  Spoon cream cheese mixture into apples and bake for 10 minutes longer.

Garnish with cinnamon, crushed graham crackers.  Finish with caramel sauce drizzle and serve.
