As a young girl growing up in the New Friendship Baptist Church in Greenville, GA, I realized early that I had a gift of engaging audiences when I gave my first Easter speech. Although my speaking audiences expanded beyond small town churches in the south to corporate headquarters across the U.S., and abroad; my drive for public speaking is the same as it was when I gave my first Easter speech.

My goal in every speaking opportunity is to inform and inspire. I desire to give people information that they can use and then inspire them to leave the event and take action.

That’s what happened when I spoke at the Southeast Florida Apartment Association Young Professionals’ event in July 2016. A member of the audience reached out to me months later and said, “Your message inspired me to ask my V.P. to mentor me. Everything has changed for the better. My sales are up and I am more motivated and energized like never before.” This young and enthusiastic man went on to say, “I was feeling down about my career but after hearing you speak, I knew what I needed to do. Thank you!”

I am committed to helping people develop professionally, personally, and spiritually. Regardless of the venture, I bring my best and most prepared self to the event because I want every member to leave the event informed and inspired.
